Cornish Day Ranger
Enjoy a day's unlimited travel on all train services in Cornwall after 0900 Monday to Friday and all day on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays. Tickets cost just £10, or £5 for a child, and can be purchased from most major train stations, appointed travel agents, or by phone on 08457 000 125.

Get hold of a one-day Ride Cornwall ticket and enjoy unlimited travel throughout Cornwall on all First, Truronian and Western Greyhound buses as well as CrossCountry and First Great Western train services.

Tickets cost £10 (adult), £7.50 (child) and £24 (family up to 2 adults and 3 children) from any of the above operators.

Travel is permitted after 0900 Monday-Friday and at any time on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. For full details, pick up a Ride Cornwall leaflet.

It’s a discount price ticket for unlimited bus travel that you buy with your train ticket. So you pay for your complete train and bus journey in one easy transaction.

PLUSBUS is available to 231 towns and cities across Britain. You can change between train and bus services with PLUSBUS at over 270 train stations nationwide .

In Cornwall, PLUSBUS is available at the following stations: Bodmin Parkway, Camborne & Redruth, Falmouth & Penryn, Liskeard, Newquay, Penzance, St. Austell and Truro.

How does it work?
Ask for PLUSBUS when buying your train ticket, for unlimited bus travel around town on all participating bus operators’ services. Your bus travel can be at the start, the finish, or both parts of your train journey. For each town there is one zone that covers the whole urban area. With your PLUSBUS ticket you can travel as much as you like by bus within this zone. PLUSBUS can be added to most types of train ticket:
  • single,
  • day return,
  • period return,
  • season ticket (for set periods, to match your train season ticket: 7-days, 1-month, 3-months, a year).

Where do I buy PLUSBUS?
Simply ask for PLUSBUS when buying your train ticket. It can save you money and is more convenient than buying separate tickets. What’s more you can pay with cash, credit or debit card.

You can buy PLUSBUS at:
  • train station ticket offices ;
  • self-service ticket machines (at selected stations only);
  • by ‘phone through Train Company telesales;
  • National Rail appointed travel agents.
